Event Description

Join us as two lucky kids are picked to assist Mayor Curtis in wreathing the lions at the Kankakee Public Library. Afterward, the Kankakee High School drum line leades the group on a short march to the historic Train Depot for the official tree lighting of the City’s Christmas tree. Old St. Nick even makes an appearance! The event concludes with carols from the KHS choir, cookies and hot chocolate inside the depot.
