Event Description

The Zonta Club of Kankakee with Clove Alliance is partnering to present “What I was Wearing” exhibit to kick off a month of events aimed at raising awareness on sexual violence.

This exhibit aims to address one of our culture’s most pervasive rape myths, using local stories and clothing similar to what victims were wearing when they were attacked. The exhibit is a powerful testimony to the fact that clothing worn by a sexual assault survivor is completely irrelevant to whey they were attacked.
