Kankakee Valley Park District is proud to announce the second Civic Woods Showdown Disc Golf Tournament set for Saturday, October 18, 2025! KVPD’s Civic Woods Showdown Disc Golf Tournament is proudly partnered with the Kankakee Area Disc Golf Association to offer this trophy only non-sanctioned tournament. The tournament will utilize the wooded 14-acre property located directly behind KVPD’s Civic Auditorium. The course will consist of a 9-hole course with the layout still TBD. Players will play the 9-hole course twice for a total of 18 holes to complete their round.

Kankakee Valley Park Districts Civic Woods Showdown Disc Golf Tournament will be separated out into four different levels which will be Women’s Beginners (700 & Under), Women’s Advanced (701 & Above, Men’s Beginners (700 & Below), Men’s Advanced (701 & Above). The beginner levels are for players who are new to the game or have limited experience playing the sport (Rating of 700 or Below). The Advanced levels are for players who have a rating of experience playing in tournaments and/or has a rating of 701 & Above. Each division will have a trophy prize for the winner and runner-up.

Cost:

Early Bird Registration: $25 (ends October 5!)

Regular Registration: $35 (October 6-18)
