Event Description

The Kankakee Valley Park District’s Senior Expo & Senior Market is a morning designed to help local seniors connect, learn, explore and enjoy everything their community has to offer.

Guests can visit with local organizations, discover health and wellness resources, learn about recreation opportunities, hear from educational speakers, explore travel and lifestyle information, and enter for door prizes and giveaways. The event will also feature community recycling services, including secure document shredding, electronic recycling and a plastic recycling drive.

The Senior Market adds a little shopping to the day, with handmade crafts, artwork, baked goods and one-of-a-kind creations from local senior artisans and makers. Whether you’re looking for helpful resources, new activities, a chance to socialize or simply an enjoyable morning out, the Senior Expo & Senior Market brings it all together in one place.
