To Our Racing Community, Fans, and Friends,

On behalf of the American Power Boat Association, I am thrilled to announce the return of one of our sport’s most celebrated traditions — the APBA Outboard Performance Craft Nationals — to Kankakee, Illinois, this Labor Day weekend.

Kankakee has a long and storied history as a premier host for our Nationals. Over the years, this incredible community has provided one of the most exciting and up-close viewing experiences for Tunnel Boat racing in all of North America. Fans here don’t just watch the races — they feel them. The roar of the engines, the spray off the turns, and the heart-pounding competition all combine to make Kankakee a truly special place in the world of powerboat racing.

Each Labor Day, the town of Kankakee embraces this event with enthusiasm, hospitality, and pride, creating an atmosphere that’s as thrilling for the spectators as it is for the racers. The APBA is proud and excited to bring our Nationals back to such a passionate and dedicated host city.

I invite all racers, teams, and fans to join us for this year’s Nationals. Together, we will celebrate the speed, skill, and spirit that define our sport — right here in Kankakee.
