The City of Kankakee and the Kankakee Valley Park District are excited to announce that sponsorship opportunities are now available for the 2026 Kankakee River Valley Regatta, returning Labor Day Weekend 2026. The nationally recognized event will once again feature thrilling American Power Boat Association (APBA) championship racing on the scenic Kankakee River.

Following the tremendous success of last year's event, the Regatta was honored as the American Power Boat Association's (APBA) Best Race Site for 2025 and will host the APBA National Championships for the second consecutive year, further establishing Kankakee as one of the nation's premier powerboat racing destinations.
