Event Description

Every high-school student in Kankakee County should be at this event on February 6th.

For the 2nd year in a row, the Kankakee County State’s Attorney’s Office partners with Harbor House and City Life to present a FREE program FOR TEENS on the topic of teen dating violence.

Teens are more likely to be a victim of dating violence than any other type of violence. When teens leave this event they will understand the clear difference between healthy and unhealthy dating relationships, will know the signs to watch for, and will be empowered with the knowledge of what to do if they ever find themselves in an abusive or otherwise dangerous relationship.
