    Croswell

    Carolyn A. Croswell, Director of Human Resources

    Ms. Croswell rejoined the City of Kankakee as Director of Human Resources in May 2021, having previously served in this role in 2018.  She has also worked as the Chief HR Officer with a variety of healthcare organizations, local government and institutions of higher-education. As the Director of HR, Ms. Croswell is responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resources function and establishing a vision and direction for the full complement of core human resource programs, policies and services.

      Ms. Croswell has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Agape Youth Network, Holistic Healthcare, the City of Chicago - Human Rights Commission for the Roseland, Pullman, and Kensington Communities and on the Matteson School District 162 Advisory Board – Huth Jr. High School.  She holds a bachelor's degree from the Governors State University and a MBA from Olivet Nazarene University
