Event Description

Hop on a bike, enjoy the day with your community, and support your local Salvation Army! Take a casual, scenic ride along the Riverfront Trail in Kankakee, Bradley, and Bourbonnais. Registration, check-in, refreshments, music, and festivities will be centrally located at Bird Park. Families and individuals can choose to bike anywhere along the route North to Kankakee River State Park (16 mi.), or South to Kankakee Community College (4 mi.). Ride as much or as little as you want! Register online at donate.saheartland.org/redkettlepedal or in our office at 148 N Harrison in Kankakee.

All proceeds go to The Salvation Army of Kankakee County and the work they do in serving the community year round - including a soup kitchen, food pantry, sheltering services, rental/utility assistance, clothing assistance, transportation assistance, youth programs, mobile outreach, and more.
