MEET AT THE KANKAKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY
ENJOY THE KANKAKEE VALLEY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
5:00 - 5:30 IN THE LIBRARY BEFORE THE EVENT BEGINS

Each December, two lucky kids are chosen to assist Mayor Wells-Armstrong in
wreathing the lions at the Kankakee Public Library. Afterward, follow the kankakee
high school drumline to the historic Train Depot for the official lighting of the City’s
Christmas Tree. The event concludes with music from the Kankakee High School show
choir ‘take note,’ Cookies, and Hot Chocolate inside the Depot.
