Here is an update for those who are currently unemployed due to COVID-19 who are not eligible for the state’s regular unemployment insurance program. The new Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program will launch on Monday, May 11, 2020. There are new instructions from the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES).
