Kankakee, IL – While the City of Kankakee has had to make adjustments under precautions for COVID-19, news and updates will continue to be posted on the City of Kankakee’s website and social media sites. Kankakee Connections, the City’s monthly newsletter, will also continue to be available online for community updates, job openings, events and announcements.
The newsletter was started in January of 2019 and is available in both English and Spanish.
“As another form of communication and outreach, I wanted to start a City newsletter to keep our residents informed. While our offices are currently closed to the public due to COVID-19, our efforts to make government accessible and transparent have not ceased. Our staff are still working to provide services to the community. And while we may not deliver hard copies of the newsletter at this time, it remains available online,” said Mayor Wells-Armstrong.
Those who wish to subscribe to Kankakee Connections can do so on the City of Kankakee’s website here: https://citykankakee-il.gov/newsletter.php.
