Lieutenant Governor, Juliana Stratton, Set to Visit Local Businesses in Kankakee

Kankakee, IL – Lieutenant Governor, Juliana Stratton, will be in town today to visit local businesses. Her visit will begin at the Alkevulan History Center in Kankakee with Dr. Leonard Porter, the founder of the museum.

The Lieutenant Governor will then visit Mayor Wells-Armstrong before beginning her business tour led by the Mayor and the City of Kankakee’s Business Attraction and Retention Coordinator, Brad Benoit.

“I’m excited about my visit to the Kankakee area and look forward to meeting small business owners and other stakeholders in the community as Illinois moves cautiously into Phase 4,” said Lieutenant Governor, Juliana Stratton.

“We look forward to having our Lieutenant Governor visit a few of our local businesses as we continue to move Kankakee Forward and our state begins the revitalization phase under the Restore Illinois plan. I am proud of the work we are doing to continue to serve our community during this transitioning time,” said Mayor Wells-Armstrong.
