Kankakee, IL – Downtown Kankakee recently welcomed a new family-owned nail salon. LC Nail Salon is located on the corner of Station Street and Schuyler Ave and their business hours are as follows:

           Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

           Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

           Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

After spending a year building and designing the salon, LC Nail Salon eagerly embraced their new clientele in the community. To celebrate their grand opening, a 20% off discount will be given to all first-time clients now until Saturday, August 29, 2020. Clients can enjoy pedicures, manicures, acrylics, gel nails, and brows for a very reasonable price in a safe and clean environment.

“My family used to work in a nail salon in Bourbonnais and noticed that many of our clients were coming from Kankakee, so we decided to open up a salon in downtown Kankakee so we could be closer to the people,” said Phu Kim.

While public health remains a top priority, staff are compliant with the Restore Illinois Phase Four plan. Frequently touched areas are cleaned and sanitized, masks are worn by both the clients and staff, and protective plexiglass barriers are located at each nail station.

“This is yet another new business that has recently opened in the City of Kankakee. It is especially rewarding when opportunities such as this are still possible despite the hardships of the global pandemic we are facing. This goes to show that Kankakee will always find a way to continue to grow and flourish no matter the circumstances,” says Mayor-Wells Armstrong.
