Kankakee, IL – Choices Youth Outreach International and the Duane Dean’s Living Room Program is set to host a food pop-up giveaway today. The event will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the new Living Room program location at 367 S. Schuyler Avenue in Kankakee.

Community Resource Coordinator for the Living Room program, Natalie Ojeda, hopes to give away as many free items as possible.
“We hope this is a very successful event while we also encourage community members to stop by our new location. We are planning to host an open house for the public later this month,” said Community Resource Coordinator for the Living Room program, Natalie Ojeda.
“I am very grateful to have an additional resource in our downtown district. I look forward to partnering with the Living Room team to ensure the needs of our most vulnerable residents are met,” said Mayor Wells-Armstrong.
