The Kankakee Police Department in collaboration with the Office of the Mayor is offering up to $10,000.00 in reward for information leading to the arrest for the below unsolved murders.

 

March 04, 2022

Victim:  Davarion Jones   15 years of age

On July 06, 2021 at 3:51pm, Davarion Jones and several other teenagers were standing near a vehicle in the 1100 block of East Merchant Street when a lone gunman approached the youths and shot into the group killing Davarion Jones.  The gunman then fled on foot east bound in the alley.  No arrest has been made for this murder.
 

Victim:  Termaine Wilson 15 years of age

On February 17th, 2022 at 2:29am, Termaine Wilson was on a couch inside a residence in the 300 block of South Harrison Avenue when a gunman fired into the residence from the street killing Wilson.  The gunman then fled the scene.  No arrest has been made for this murder.

 

The Kankakee Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for above described murders. As those persons responsible for these crimes represent an ongoing threat to the safety of our community. Therefore, the City of Kankakee has issued a reward up to $10,000.00 for information leading to the identification and apprehension of the person(s) responsible for the murder of each of these individual.
