KANKAKEE, IL (February 13, 2023) – El próximo taller presenatdo por la Agencia de Desarrollo Económico y Comunitario en su serie de talleres para negocios pequeños está programado para el martes 7 de marzo de 5 a 6:30 P.M. en la ECDA sala de conferencias, ubicada en el cuarto piso de la Biblioteca Pública de Kankakee. Este taller presenta el mismo tema que el de febrero: impuestos para negocios pequeños, pero se ofrecerá en español para apoyar a nuestra creciente comunidad empresarial hispana.

“ECDA ofrecerá refrigerios ligeros y una oportunidad para establecer contactos de 5 a 5:30 P.M. antes de que comience la presentación.” afirma Leo Jaramillo, Navegador de Desarrollo Económico de ECDA. “Vale la pena conocer a otros profesionales y emprendedores que están experimentando los mismos retos al iniciar un negocio. Nuestro objetivo es ayudar a estas personas a conectarse entre ellos y con la Ciudad de Kankakee.”

La Agencia de Desarrollo Económico y Comunitario se asoció con Fierce Financial Planning Service Inc para presentar y discutir temas comunes relacionados con los impuestos a negocios pequeños. Estos temas incluyen cómo y cuándo presentar correctamente los impuestos comerciales, los diferentes tipos de impuestos comerciales y los tipos de presentación según la estructura de su negocio.

"Cada propietario de un nuevo negocio siempre debe tener una consulta con un contador sobre las implicaciones financieras y fiscales, así como con un abogado sobre las implicaciones legales relativas a la apertura y gestión de un negocio.” dice Teresa Jones, que tiene más de 20 años de contabilidad y planificación financiera como dueña de Fierce Financial Planning Services Inc. “Este taller responderá a sus preguntas sobre todo lo relacionado con los impuestos comerciales y cómo iniciar su negocio de la manera correcta. ECDA HOSTING SMALL BUSINESS TAX WORKSHOP IN SPANISH

 

KANKAKEE, IL (February 13, 2023) – The Economic and Community Development Agency’s next workshop in its series of business workshops is scheduled for Tuesday, March 7th from 5pm to 6:30pm in the ECDA conference room, which is located at 200 E Court Street Suite 410 in Kankakee. This workshop features the same topic as February – Small Business Taxes – but will be offered in Spanish to support our ever-growing Hispanic business community.

“ECDA will be offering light refreshments and a networking opportunity from 5-5:30pm before the presentation begins.” advises Leo Jaramillo, ECDA Economic Development Navigator. “There is value in meeting other professionals and entrepreneurs who are experiencing the same challenges in starting a business. It is our goal to help these individuals make connections with one another and with the City of Kankakee.”

The Economic and Community Development Agency has partnered with Fierce Financial Planning Service Inc to present and discuss common topics surrounding small business taxes. These topics include how and when to properly file business taxes, the different types of business taxes, and the filing types based on your business structure.

"Every new business owner should always have a consultation with an accountant for financial and tax implications as well as an attorney for the legal implications relative to opening and running a business.” says Teresa Jones who has 20 plus years of accounting and financial planning as the owner of Fierce Financial Planning Services Inc. “This workshop will answer your questions on all things business taxes and starting your business off the correct way.
