The City of Kankakee has partnered with Kankakee School District #111 as the fiscal agent of the COPS grant. 

Mayor Wells-Armstrong will appoint Barbara Brewer-Watson as Executive Director of the Community Development Agency for the City of Kankakee at the City Council meeting on Monday, March 18. Brewer-Watson will transition from her role as President and CEO of the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce at the end of the month.

Congresswoman Robin Kelly will host a Youth Job Expo for young men and women between the ages of 16 and 23 on Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, in the Media Center of Rich South High School, 5000 Sauk Trail, Richton Park.

The City of Kankakee has partnered with Utility Service Partners, a HomeServe Company, to offer protection for homeowners against repairs to water and sewer service lines. The coverage is voluntary and available at affordable monthly or annual prices.
