Kankakee, IL – The City of Kankakee has been awarded $10,000 from the National League of Cities as a result of a grant secured by Mayor Wells-Armstrong. The grant will sponsor the Get-Out-The-Count (GOTC) effort as a push to complete an accurate count for the 2020 Census.

While the City of Kankakee offices are currently closed to the public at this time to pick up yard waste stickers, please help the department by leaving containers open to identify yard waste.
