Kankakee, IL – From the Office of the City Clerk, all present and future businesses operating in the City of Kankakee must now register annually with the City Clerk’s office located at 304 South Indiana Avenue in Kankakee, Illinois.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: In an effort to increase public safety and slow down traffic near the schools, stop signs on River Street have been approved by City Council. The first three-way stop sign has been placed at East River Street and Wildwood Avenue. An additional two-way stop sign will be placed at East River Street and South Myrtle Avenue.
