Kankakee, IL – In response to heavy rainfall over the weekend, the City of Kankakee reached out to Republic Services to coordinate having dumpsters placed throughout the community to assist with cleanup.

A sump pump discharge line that is hooked up to the city sanitary sewer system is NOT a good idea, especially during this time of the year when heavy rains are anticipated.
